Dominant but just no luck.

Ahmad Ibrahim Sec - Westlanders Utd and Getz both made their debut for the season last Saturday in a thunderous clash which saw 2 players sent off, 1 from each side.Westlanders at the beginning was taking control of proceedings and took the lead as Mahatir volleyed home a shocker. Then midfielder Sathya scored perhaps the goal of the day when he hammered home a left top corner goal from the right.Just minutes after scoring, Westlanders shot themselves in the foot by conceding.Having conceded many goals in past tournaments, the last thing Parthiban needed was to see another flash past him in many slightly dubious circumstances. In the dying minutes Jagan scored from a longshot effort, but it was too late for the westland team to comeback.Rp Kumar then add salt to the wound by getting red in the last few minutes. This result saw Getz climb up to 3rd in the table while Westlanders Utd are now 2nd from bottom.
Final Score
Westlanders Utd 3-5 Getz Utd (Mahatir,Sathya,Jagan)
