Passing on...
Dear Team,
Sathya here. I would like to inform all of you, that as of today 15 July 2010, I am stepping down as Westlanders United Team Captain. I have been the team captain from late 2007 till today... I had a great time as Captain and have learnt many useful things during my time.
I am passing it to the next person with honour and wish them all the best with it. Do take it seriously and do your best for this team...Our team is young and is learning from our experience.
I hope that the players in the team would respect and trust the same way as you guys had in me to the next successor no matter who he is...
We have to remember that we are team and should think that way. I also urge all the players in the team to forgive and forget conflicts among players and start afresh in contributing to the team as my last wish as Captain. Do your best, no matter what happens and don’t expect anything from it. Our common goal is win games and love football...
I know the players who are unhappy and have also talked to them. I will definitely do what I’ve promised.

ReplyDeleteThe main reason, I am passing on is because other players must also get the chance to lead the team and polish up their leadership skills,which will give every player in the team a sense of belonging to Westlanders United.
Secondly,I also do have some positive changes in mind that would only happen if I step down as Captain...
You guys should know that too...
