Cancelled? I also cancelled by appointments to make it to the meeting. Thought coach said its compulsory to attend todays meeting and yet he cancelled?

ReplyDeleteThere are a few scapegoats in the team whereby they are the ones who gets scolded for mistakes, regardless if they did the mistake or not.
ReplyDelete.Coach likes to scold the innocent ones as a indirect warning to the other players. He should scold the one who is really in the mistake. And scold everyone equally.
We like to be treated with respect. Coach can scold us but must scold everyone equally even if he is the star player or top scorer.
I feel very sad who have been the scapegoats; they are people with feelings too..Not people who are labelled with a sign 'Blame me if anything goes wrong'.Its sad to see some guys getting scolded and blamed for the other player mistakes. Some guys who doesn’t talk back doesn’t mean they don’t have feelings. If such cases don’t scold infront of those who are not even in our team, Its embarrassing.
Furthermore, the guys who gets fucked regularly have been in the team very long and worked their way up in the squad...
New players should prove themselves before they get the 90 mins in the field. NOT prove their worth with other player's starting line up chances...
Coach should seriously look into these matters before the season starts...
We are now closer than ever with Westlanders.But we could be a better team if Coach had done things with more interest...We had no training and everytime b4 game starts,coach should make tactical movements not encouragement...Now it's not too late.Coach must guide us into this league.Coach must teach us and stick to plans.Too much change is happening in westlanders...nt gd.

ReplyDeleteFor that to happen,we cannot just come in games and after game leave straight away.We should get to know players in the team for mutual respect,decrease the bad temper in team.NO FIGHTING AMONG TEAM PLAYERS.For that to happen,we should play icebreakers and get to know more.If we solve that maybe everything else will get better...This will happen through meetings and trainings.MAybe we should have camping together.That way there will be no unhappiness in team.And everyone would care for every team player.LEt's stay together and bring out the best. We need coach to do the following to reach our goal.We cannot keep talking only.Words must be put into action.

ReplyDeleteok lets get to the point! firstly, last game was the best game WESTLANDERS have ever had! we won in the last few seconds! we were all happy! because we are a team! i was happy that our team won! ONE FOR ALL, ALL FOR ONE! happiness a side! i was playing in the reserve bench the whole game together with satish, praba, murukesh and soffian! we were supporting the team! but we were so desprate to play as well! we wanted to be part of the action as well! we wanted to contribe to the team in the field as well! i am not pissed at not playing in that game although my dream was to play in a stadium! but wat really hurt me and the rest was that we were being ask to be BALL PICKERS???
we talk about respect right? we also need to be respected like a player!
i know its just a favour helping coach! i never say no to coach! but don ever shout or raise ur voice! it just makes things worst! ( coach always respected by me! without him we are nobody/nothing!)
secondly, 2 new players joined the team in that game! i am happy that more players are coming and there are also competion for me! i love compition! its builts me to be a better person/player!
but i was not given a chance to show my potential! whereas 80mins was all theirs! we must give everybody a chance even if they are good or no good! don look at first time performance and judge them! guys we must have all heard about this saying, " don judge a book by its cover" same here! treat everyone equal! we all pay 10 bucks every game! we look forward to playing and proving to each other that we are more then wat they think we are made of! but the chance is not given and ppl then will tend to give up! i have always this goal to score a goal in every game and the fire was really burning in me during that game! i felt i could change the game! but its ok! just not my day i guess! subs are there for a reason. to change the game and bring in a fresh player into the field! in that game from the bench we could see that ppl were tired!
lastly, we really need to have training guys! we need to make ourselves free for training! and we deserve a good pitch to train on! and that kismis field is the best field i can think of! so ppl this are just some points i feel should be discussed by us and mostly changed if nessary before the new season starts!
my goal for westlanders is to see us in the top of the table in the next season! and i am confident that we will be able to do it! but i need the whole team to think so too! WESTLANDERS LETS FIGHT! WE CAN DO THIS TOGETHER! WESTLANDERS THE RAISING STARS! WATCH OUT FOR US!!!!
Last week coach say Tat no matter wad commitments u gt outside pls cancel it&half of our team players cancel their plans&wanted 2 go 4 meeting bt end up coach himself Cockup! This is not fair, if coach himself aready doing like tis then if next time on matchday lf the players cockup last minute sayin they gt work or wad then coach pls don't blame them,bt sori 2 say I tink u should reflect on itself 1st coach.U should understand one thing next week is our tournament&u're goin 2 play who at where when u don't which position the player is suitable tats y I thought at least if we gt meeting we can discuss abt it bt nw it's too late areadi la tats all I've 2 say.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with certain ppls comments here.. i was quite disappointed with a couple of issues initially. Firstly why do all the new players get to play a full game and the senior players get to just sit and observe the game?? i am not talking about myself here but generally for all those who feel this way.... if everyone observe carefully, if the new player or the so called "star" player makes a mistake in the field, he doesnt get fucked as bad as those who have less experience in soccer. WHy do these ppl get so much of respect and the others don't. OBserve all the other teams when they come to play, whether they are winnng or losing, it doesn't matter to them. what is more impt for them is, they make sure all de player gets a chance in the field and they are feeling satisfied for thier performance.
ReplyDeleteIn addition disgracing our own player in the field. It doesnt matter whether the opponent can understand our language or not. Giving support to each other in the pitch is far more impt and effective than giving lectures OUTSIDE the pitch. Before game, Half time are all given for not lectures but to improvise in our strategies. Sathya once quarrelled for not wastin time unnecessarily durin half time with coach. This will happen more frequently if we don look into alot of issues more seriously.
No other teams fight within themselves barbaricly during game time except us. Numerous occasions have provn it. We must play for passion with fire in heart.
I've to admit on my weakness in soccer. I'm doin my best to improve myself. but i don feel v. comfortable when i get picked everytime also.. when my buddies make fun i understand its part of fun, but the whole team?? it isn't v.nice also... i do not wish to target specifc ppl and bomb them. I respect u guys...
I agree with everyone with their comments. i think that coach is not doing his job right.. he has been leading the team in a path which he thinks is right..but it is only right to a certain extent.. he has not thought us much..COACH YOU MUST CHANGE YOUR STYLE OF TRAINING.. you must see everyone equally.. i have nothing much to say. think over it coach.. please listen to us..take care..

I have read all the comments and some do make sense.
ReplyDeleteGuys to be frank our team has the capability no doubt. Having the ability is 1 issue but having the brains to play the game is another issue. Most of our players can play the game but at times i have noticed players being tired, out of position or worse still totally blur not sure of their duties on the pitch.
How do we address this issue is very simple i belief. 2 things. Position and Tactics. Some players are being played out of position. Lets say a guy is a left winger, he may not be the best in that position but he would at least know roughly how to play that position. When to drop back to help the defense and when to push forward or when to cut in field and provide support or how to find space or create space for himself. If that is the case it would be easier to teach someone tactics. Speaking of tactics i think our team has none. Over the whole season we have come for game and abt 10-15 mins b4 a game we just throw a formation like 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 or sumtin and the rest is all motivational talk which i feel is irrelevant.isnt the purpose of coming early for tactical talks and so that every1 knows their role. Our motivational talk is more than our tactical talk. Like how bad we did the last game or guys play for pride and all or the opponents are not good or they r the best or whatever so guys peform better and all. And when the whistle blows there will be players suddenly out of position or some unhappy with their position or some dont even knw wat to do in their position.. My suggestion is since during weekdays every1 are busy den why dont we make it compulsory for every1 to stay back on the field for abt an hr after the game. We can do simple cooling down exercises. Den sit down and talk abt the game and address the issues that happen during the game and how to improve during the next game. wats the point in telling a player to improve but not telling him wat to improve in his game. If a motivational talk is required then this is the time to do so cause some ppl will be shouting at a person for his mistake and all..whats the point, the game is over.Lets encurage some1 to do better because remember some of the world greatest player to have grace a footballing pitch were never supported by their families until they become rich and that is sad. We are a family so lets show some support. During a game we have to be vocal so when we are loud with one another on the pitch lets not take it personally but when the game is over please dont act like barbarians. Is that the purpose of joining a supposedly professional league so that you can be UNprofessional. After a game when we are done cooling off and discussing our tactical flaws and mistakes we wont have to waste time the following game giving all these motivational speech and all before a game. Come for a game. Set a formation and just brief them roughly cause mainly the bulk of the work has already been done..

well agree with most of your comments but the person who wrote there me and vijay are using too much of abusive language have to tell it straight to my face not just be a coward and post it there without giving the name.....well i am not trying to say what k but this is my style......i won't change my style for any one of you guys out there cause i beleive i am letting my feet do the talking.......ya i agree with that all of us wants to play but who actually performs or deliver when given the chance......just take the game that we played in clementi woods for example........well satiesh to be frank no one is picking on you but just think for a while the mistakes you have done in the field and what have you done to improve yourself........i am not saying i am 100% but i learned football through hard ways and not only me most of the player's.......just look at individual's such as RAVI,SARA,SATHYA and even SASI......RAVI and SATHYA, i know them a long way back and they have worked themselves up and don't tell me they never get fucked......SARA,for someone his size he is doing a fine job and most of you are just letting your mouth do the talking......stop that and think how to be better than them and slowly you will realise where we all stand.......i don't really care what you guys think about me cause i have acheived what most of you guys can never imagine and i would like to congrats to the players who i think will bring this team far.......RAVI,SARA,SASI,SATHYA,RESHI and PRABHA......... anyone of you guys got problem with what i say, you can call me at 90619423 to speak your heart out.....
ReplyDeleteAs far as im concerned, only coach has the right to fuck someone in the field and not the players among themselves. Everyone gets fucked yes, hey what the fuck u playing la, and all. Thats fine. But not getting fucked like, hey u dont play soccer, go outside and wear saree. Thats called humilation. Not getting fucked. As for me, i will say sorry immediately in the field if i make a mistake. But expect me to keep quiet when i get words like that? I dont think any of the guys will keep quiet as well. As well as u sopphian, U keep quiet when someone give u remarks such as that? I wont. And i think all players in our team are equal and every player have their own strength. If they are extremely good, they will be playing for singapore not westlanders. So getting fucked is ok when its done at a limit but not humilation.

I wrote that,cause some players had somethings they want to say but was afraid that their points might be overlooked by Coach.
There is no personal grudge here.I think the player who commented on You and Vijay did not say anything about your style of football but just want the vulgars used to be cut.There are more than just the two of u who uses vulgar,but the names are not mentioned.
To be frank,the amount of foul language used is getting worse every game.We all want to go against it as a team effort.
Other than that,your points join in together with what the team generally wants to voice out...
