Is it over?

Westlanders United 2:2 Temasek Aces
Man Of The Match:Ryan
[2 Ruban (Pen)]
Westlanders drew again clinching 1 point once more after a hard fought game with Aces. However, after the game Coach have declared to leave the team if the attendance continues to be poor. Everybody skips training without even informing or even worse without valid reason. Is this because they do not take Westlanders seriously? Coach rejected various job offers just because it is clashing with our game time. He is still unemployed finding for a suitable job. All he gets is 7 people attending training. It is disrespect for a man who sacrificed so much for our team.Frankly, I would say because of Westlanders only I managed to be selected for my school team soccer. Without it I would not have been an improved player.Westlanders=Coach. If there is no Westlanders, think where each and everyone will be standing in your soccer status. If there's no one like coach will we be here satisfying our soccer needs? We all are devoted to soccer. We all want to be somebody in soccer. For that we should have disipline, respect etc. Please bear in mind that no one is bigger than the team itself. If this was a Home United, Geylang, SAF or Tampines training I am sure everybody will attend on time and ready. But, because it is Westlanders, everybody takes it lightly. Never weigh a team by its popularity! It does not mean only if you play for big clubs you can go far, as long as you commit and give your heart to a team like Westlanders you will end up somewhere positive. It all depends on us. Only Coach can guide us. Without him we are nobody. Think about it? If still the team does not want to turn over a new leaf; then I think it’s justifiable for coach to leave. Even after that, the Westlanders hardliners will be still be behind coach. Everything’s starts small but gradually with genuine work and belief it will be big one day.
The Westlander Pioneers will always be behind coach.
Please note*:Players without proper reason and not informing beforehand will be omitted from team no matter who the player is! (This time it is a very serious issue) Do you want coach to leave the team? Send in your comments. Coach will take a look at this blog before our next game. Whatever you feel to say or bring up please feel free to comment!

  1. i would strongly disagree for coach leaving the team...come on guys, he did us so many thing iin and outside the field...he is only our coach in de field but after trainigs or matches, he was like our guardian....for all the things he did de least we could do is just respect his words..a very small example of what we have acheived through him is..do any team get to play with the home united juniour team at any point of time???but we did...so just imagine wat else we could do if we work together as a family.....

  2. Commitment
It is definitely impossible for us to continue without a coach.Everyone beg to differ?. I mean afterall all he asks is to give our full commitment to the team only one day every week. I don't find it difficult.

    Team-fund
Whose fault is it that most raked up in double digit team-fund-balance? We accepted that part when we all agreed to join the tournament. What is the problem now. We played ourselves so why do we accept others to pay?

    The blame-game
    Goalkeepers blame Defenders,
    Everyone else blame Goalkeepers,
Defence blame Midfielders, Midfielders blame Defenders,
    Strikers blame Midfielders,

When is this going to stop?I too did this mistake. But, last week coach told me to stop blaming people and instead to support myself.I did do that.I hope we can reprociate this behavior throughout the team.

    Coach
If there's person who is allowed to fire the team or anyone anyhow, then that person should be no one but our Coach. He has all rights to criticise our game.I mean, afterall, thats the duty of a coach; to identify and tell straight-to-the-face our problem. We are all young men. You cannot expect coach to treat us like kids and tell us in a way that is mostly associated with kiddies.
